Jay was born and raised in southern California, in L.A. and Orange County. Growing up he participated in many sports such as basketball, baseball and cross country where he was able to develop foundational team concepts that he would attribute to his later success in life and drive to accomplish goals. Days after his 16 th birthday he started working for Albertsons Supermarket bagging groceries. It turned into a 12 year tenure where he worked his way up to hold various positions as a grocery clerk, dept. head and eventually an Assistant Manager where he was able to develop leadership and customer service skills. In 1997 he left Albertsons to pursue his passion for fulltime pastoral ministry where he served for 26 years with 2 different churches. Throughout his pastoral career he ministered in numerous capacities: providing pastoral care/counseling, teaching/leading jr. high, high school and young adults and organizing and leading various church events, retreats, as well as organizing services that are directed towards meeting the needs of the communities. These experiences have equipped him with strong communication skills, both written and verbal while allowing me to connect with diverse audiences with a love and passion to help.
Jay’s passion for mentoring youth and sports translated into him volunteering to coach his own three boys in numerous sports from elementary to high school, providing the opportunity to help other families along the way. His love of fitness, coaching and investing in the lives of others paved the way for him purchase CrossFit Fullerton in which he is co-owner/head coach with his eldest son. Although new to real estate, his proven desire to help and serve people, coupled with his drive and passion to face challenges head on, makes him the perfect candidate to represent individuals and families looking to enhance their future in making real estate investments.
Jay and his wife, of over 28 years, remain very active outside of work and church with their three sons in various sports, outdoor activities and fostering community.
